Festival News

Following the announcement of international acts including Kevin Morby, The Blind Boys of Alabama and Hand Habits plus our own Alex Cameron, Brunswick Music Festival has today delivered its full 2020 program. Running March 9 - 22, it's about as Brunswick as hosing down your concrete. Refurbished, revamped and raring to go, the festival hub returns as Mechanica at Brunswick Mechanics Institute. Still a mystery to many, the prized BMF venue that premiered in 2019, Estonian House also returns; providing the chance to experience some incredible artists inside Brunswick's stunning best kept secret. Sheer Mag (USA) return to Melbourne, bringing their huge energy, pure passion, call-to-arms attitude and total defiance of the powers that be, all the way from Philadelphia to fill the rock'n'roll hole in our heart. Seeker Lover Keeper, the musical meld of Sarah Blasko, Holly Throsby and Sally Seltmann, is a triple treat with a double feature: appearing in conversation with Fee B-Squared, before alighting the Estonian House stage with Harmony Byrne. Did someone order the six course degustation? Brunswick Music Feastival will be serving up a delicious and nutritious aural menu with the likes of Crepes, Eggy, Sunfruits, Baked Beans, Long Lunch and Biscotti on Wednesday March 11. ARIA nominated Mama Kin Spender will be performing their first Melbourne show in over a year with the harmonious backing of twenty-something strong First Chorus Band of Singers choir, and C. W. Stoneking will mesmerise the Estonian House audience on Friday March 13 – storyteller, genre-defier and a voice as unique as his every performance, this is a headlining spot not to be missed.  Sui Zhen's multi-disciplinary craft will weave a landscape of love, loss and utopian dreams on Sunday March 15, while on Tuesday 17 March Xylouris White will enchant with a collaboration that is curiously comparable to the heritage and culture of Brunswick itself. Rejoice in the rise of imbi and Cry Club; the next generation of music makers and status quo shakers, forging paths and winning hearts on a very special weekend at the Brunswick Mechanics Institute. And that's not all – Dyson Stringer Cloher, Hayley Mary, Elsy Wameyo, Elizabeth, Rolling Blackouts C.F., The Merindas, Pinch Points, MOD CON, On Diamond, Ajak Kwai, Ziggy Ramo, Diimpa and more all lend their unique flair to the festival. Like a fabric store fever dream, you're guaranteed to find something unusual and alluring in the lineup. Plus; a highlight of the Brunswick calendar, Sydney Road Street Party returns on Sunday March 1 with another perfect afternoon of free tunes and free rein over the suburb's centre strip. Six offical street stages, five local venue stages,  a brand new food truck park featuring Triple R DJs, the Blak Dot Gallery Artist Market, and it wouldn't be a Brunswick party without a plant sale (featuring Noisy Ritual wines). Like picking fruit off your neighbours lemon tree, #BMF2020 celebrates what is quintessentially, charmingly and blissfully Brunswick. On the eve of Labour Day, Novel will host world-renowned artists Nina Kraviz and Aurora Halal for their long-overdue Melbourne club shows. Prepare yourself to be treated to a duo of world-class techno practitioners... Nina Kraviz (RUS) If anyone can stake a claim for being techno's biggest drawcard, it would be Russia's most famous dance music export, Nina Kraviz. She is one of the most talked-about names in contemporary dance music, a popular dance identity who has transmogrified the underground scene by becoming a social and cultural identity. It's easy to get sidetracked by the media attention following Kraviz, but for those tuned in to the nuances of dance music know she is a once-in-a-generation artist and a true tastemaker. For proof, look no further than her Trip imprint. It is littered with productions that sounds like it was sourced from a distant future where exceptional artists operate on as yet undiscovered frequencies. The label is fresh, exciting and increasingly impressive. Her DJ sets can be a musical voyage bordering on the fantastical, they can include everything from forgotten classics to modern techno rooted in experimental layers. Nina Kraviz will go down as a zeitgeist defining artist and she deserves your attention. Don't miss out on the opportunity to see her first Australian club performance since 2013. At the forefront of the UK's rap scene, JAY1 is finally bringing his self-assured swagger down under. Despite being a relative newcomer to the scene, with his first EP ‘One Wave’ released at the start of 2019, he has made some serious waves both in the UK and globally. His sound spans bouncing dancehall, snappy trap and classic grime. With candid lyrics, bristling in self-confidence, that take centre stage over simple, catchy beats. Originally rapping as Young Jay, JAY1 started making music seriously in 2016 after moving to Coventry. Since then he’s released a string of singles including ‘That’s My Bae’, ‘Good Vibes’ and ‘Becky’ which have built him a loyal fanbase.   2019 was a big year for JAY1 it saw him release his breakout single ‘Your Mrs’. The song had strong chart success in the UK, with the music video hitting 1 million views on YouTube after just three days.   He also set off on a sold out headline tour of the UK and Ireland, as well as landing a spot on the remix of Russ and Tion Wayne’s 'Keisha & Becky', an appearance on Charlie Sloth’s Fire in the Booth radio show and a feature in the Guardian ‘'A funny accent draws bare attention': how regional rappers stormed the chart’.   The end of 2019 saw him release an instant party starter in the form of his latest single ‘Million Bucks’. SATURDAY APRIL 11TH 12PM-10PM FULL LINEUP: PATRICK TOPPING, SKREAM, MATADOR, ELLIOT ADAMSON, CASEY LEAVER & LOZI Untitled Group & Thick as Thieves have announced today that they are bringing ‘TRICK’ w/ Patrick Topping, Skream, Matador, Elliot Adamson, Casey Leaver & Lozi to one of the most intriguing and large-scale warehouse venues in Australia - The Wool Store. TRICK is Patrick Topping’s record label which has recently seen him curate parties around the globe, including at Printworks in London supported by Len Faki and Roman Flügel, in Amsterdam’s underground Central Station, in Belfast with Amelie Lens & now he is bringing the renowned event to Melbourne this April. After hosting a series of events at The Wool Store, including Solomun, Jamie Jones, John Talabot & Willaris. K, The Wool Store took an indefinite hiatus - now at the delight of music lovers, the space will come back to life again for a series of headline shows. The Wool Store will once again be fitted with a world-class sound system paired with meticulously curated production & set designs. For the Melbourne edition of TRICK, Topping has selected a quality support lineup including UK’s much loved selector, Skream, as well as Dublin born producer, Matador, & house-producer Elliot Adamson. Local support will come from Casey Leaver and Lozi.  Built in the 1940s, the Australian Heritage Commission listed 'Wool Store' is of regional historical, cultural & architectural significance. It is the largest single wool store building in Victoria, built on a grand scale with considerable architectural refinement. It represents a peak of pastoral development when Australia rode on the sheep's back with the wool industry playing a significant role in the development of Australia, carrying it's economy post-World War 2 in what is now known as the 'post-war wool boom'. The venue is an addition to Untitled Group’s fast growing portfolio including Beyond the Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Wildlands, Grapevine Gathering, and Ability Fest, as well as the company’s established management, booking & label divisions. Thick as Thieves search the globe looking for the most exciting underground artists of today, to bring you the freshest touring roster in Australia.  Sourcing the best local & international DJs, their events create a positive atmosphere that leaves our punters feeling good and doing good. Patrick Topping:  Carving a reputation as the contemporary face of British house and techno, Patrick Topping continues to garner widespread acclaim on account of his prolific production prowess and dynamic DJ sets. Soundtracking countless sunrise memories as resident of Jamie Jones’ famed Paradise parties at Ibiza’s DC-10, Patrick’s now 50-release strong back-catalogue is bursting with iconic dance-floor records on labels such as Hot Creations, Truesoul and Relief Records, with further remixes for Calvin Harris and Booka Shade charting Patrick’s meteoric rise. Armed with an arsenal of career defining productions in the form of the Beatport chart- topping ‘Be Sharp Say Nowt’, Green Velvet collaboration ‘Voicemail’, and 2014’s Ibiza track of the season ‘Forget’, Patrick’s far reaching appeal has seen him play numerous festivals including Coachella, Awakenings, Ultra, and Tomorrowland. As well as completing several tours of Australia, Europe, South America, Asia and South Africa. Patrick has performances confirmed for the year ahead including Movement Detroit, Kappa FuturFestival and for the first time is hosting his own stage a festival, at London’s Lovebox. With Patrick reaching number 11 in Resident Advisor’s top DJs poll, landing three DJ Awards, one DJ MAG ‘Best of British’ Award and becoming one of Mixmag’s cover stars the northern powerhouse now enters a refined and developed chapter of his career. The recent birth of Patrick’s own label, TRICK, has provided a home for the UK artist to exhibit his versatility as a producer, as well as a platform to showcase the wealth of the emerging talent which he has been pushing in his DJ sets. Following the recent finale of his acclaimed Motion event series, the UK producer looks set to take things to the next level throughout 2019. Skream: As one of the UK’s best-loved selectors Skream has enjoyed the kind of consistency most DJs and producers can only dream of. His passion for collecting and playing music is unrelenting; disco, house, techno and everything in between… it runs deep into his core and he lives it every single day. Still only in his early thirties, Skream has achieved more in the last 15 years than most people do in a lifetime, yet his hunger and enthusiasm is akin to that of a man who is only just getting started. Tracks like ‘Rollercoaster’ (ft. Sam Frank) and his remixes of Duke Dumont ‘Need You’ and ‘Infinity’ by Infinity Ink helped introduce the world to Skream’s shift in styles, while his mix output from 2013, cemented the change in direction seamlessly blending a variety of 4x4 styles across all of his tracks. Parallel to these pivotal releases he also showcased his eclectic tastes at his Skreamizm parties across the UK and the rest of the world, and so a new chapter began. Matador: As DJ Awards’ 2016 Electronic Live Performer, Matador is a revolutionary live artist with a shining reputation for versatility, whilst never compromising on quality. Accolades have been showered on the Dublin-born producer, from proud ambassador of the NEVE 5088 Console, and Richie Hawtin’s PLAYDifferently MODEL1 mixer, his tenure as an ENTER resident at their worldwide events, to his consistent spot in RA’s Live Artist poll, bringing him rapid worldwide acclaim and a devoted worldwide fan base of clubbers and peers alike. Still thirsty for new worlds to conquer, Matador, aka Gavin Lynch, recently took on a new role as label boss for his RUKUS imprint. Fontaines D.C. met as a quintet in Dublin, influenced and driven in equal measure by the rich history of their hometown’s counter-culture, their response has been to make concise and immediately authentic indie-punk that has done anything but fall on deaf ears. Their debut album, Dogrel (released in early 2019), spits, snarls and snaps with the very best of ‘em, but it also yearns, like the greatest Irish music must do. Their Mercury Prize-nominated debut earned the band incredibly high praise in the likes of Pitchfork, NPR, New York Times, Rolling Stone and many more. The Guardian even went as far as calling it a ‘perfect debut’.  The band have toured extensively over the last year, selling out their last three UK and EU headline tours, as well as a sold-out US tour. Tickets to Fontaines D.C. go on sale Thursday at 10am local. If their rapid upward trajectory is anything to go by, these tickets will move just as swiftly. Visit handsometours.com for details.   “One of guitar music’s most essential new voices” – NME (★★★★★) “An inspired debut album from a special band” – CLASH (9/10) “By striving to find romance and poetry in grim times, Fontaines D.C. have made a record to fall in love with” – Q (★★★★) “Yes, you do need to see them ASAP” - NME

“One of guitar music’s most essential new voices” – NME (★★★★★)

“An inspired debut album from a special band” – CLASH (9/10)

“By striving to find romance and poetry in grim times, Fontaines D.C. have made a record to fall in love with” – Q (★★★★)

“Yes, you do need to see them ASAP” – NME

To mark the occasion, Juno has shared his second single from the EP – the monumental track ‘Blossom’ and has announced two very special headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne next month. Light Echoes is an atmospheric and cerebral EP that was inspired by time, place and emotion. Aptly titled, a ‘light echo’ is an astronomical phenomenon that relates to delayed reflections of light that can allow us to see into the past. Juno Mamba plays with this concept and the big questions it poses, both universally and individually,  “The process of creating Light Echoes ended up being a journey of self-discovery. Trying to get an understanding of the world; past, present and future, and how I see myself fitting within it has always been a constant struggle. How can I contribute positively to this world in what I do, and inevitably leave behind?” Premiered last night via triple j Home & Hosed and via Complex (UK), ‘Blossom’ is an emotionally charged track that builds on the dystopian soundscapes created in Juno’s debut single ‘Flicker’. ‘Flicker’ saw Juno Mamba play with musical intricacies inspired by Japanese architect Tadao Ando’s manipulation of space and light. On ‘Blossom’, Juno Mamba masterfully plays with tension and release, resulting in an electrical surge of a crescendo that propels the track to a new dimension with a firm focus on the club.  “I like taking sounds and layers from songs I've written and incorporating them into others. There's one sound in particular at the end of ‘Blossom’ that was taken from ‘Flicker’. Having these familiar elements in tracks, connects the songs together and reiterates that everything is connected.” 2019 was a tremendous first chapter for Juno Mamba. Within months of its release, ‘Flicker’ has seen global playlisting, airplay on BBC Radio 1, received international praise from the likes of The Ransom Note, ADSR Collective, Our Culture Mag and stereofox and was remixed by renowned Canada-via-Berlin producer Nathan Micay (LuckyMe/Whities). With the release of ‘Blossom’, Juno shows no sign of slowing down in 2020. Light Echoes is out Friday 20 March and to celebrate its release, Juno Mamba will be playing his first headline shows at Melbourne’s Colour and Sydney’s Oxford Arts Factory Gallery Bar. If ‘Flicker’ is the sonic equivalent of a shutter of light, ‘Blossom’ is a supernova explosion. The rest of Light Echoes EP will arrive soon and we can’t wait to share more Juno Mamba with the world. TAME IMPALA ANNOUNCE BIGGEST EVER AUSTRALIA & NZ TOUR FOR APRIL 2020 AHEAD OF ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM VERY SPECIAL GUESTS KHRUANGBIN APPEARING ON ALL DATES

by the partae January 20, 2020
written by the partae

This April, legendary psych-rock phenomenon TAME IMPALA will embark on their biggest ever tour of Australia and New Zealand. Starting in Auckland on Thursday 16 April at Spark Arena, the incredible all ages show heads to Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Saturday 18 April, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Monday 20 April, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Thursday 23 April, Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre Arena on Saturday 25 April; before heading to Perth for a huge hometown show at RAC Arena on Tuesday 28 April.

Joining Tame Impala on all dates are Texan genre-defiers, Khruangbin. In Australia last year playing their debut sell-out headline tour, the sunny instrumental three-piece will warm crowds with their mind-expanding live show.

Led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, Tame Impala have established themselves as one of Australia’s most astounding live acts. A meditative, light-infused party of psychedelic euphoria, their live experience is world renowned – last year impressing at prestigious headlining slots such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera, and Splendour in the Grass.

“Kevin Parker and his sensational band continue to prove that their ever-expanding sound is fit for the biggest of stages” – ★ ★ ★ ★ NME

“The panoramic sound, trippy light shows, and confetti cannons of Tame Impala’s live shows are the stuff of stoner legend.” – Pitchfork

“the mind-melting live experience that’s made them one of Australia’s most treasured and in-demand music exports” – triple j

In response to the bushfires currently ravaging Australia, Kevin Parker has announced that a donation from Tame Impala’s 2020 tour will be made to bushfire relief efforts, saying:

“I’ve been hanging out to tour Australia for a long time now so I’m super excited to be able to finally be able to announce. In the past few weeks I’ve been devastated to see what’s been happening with the fires at home and we want to do our bit to help, so we’re going to be donating $AUD300,000 to bushfire relief charities.

We’ve all seen so many generous donations coming in from all around the world, which is amazing. We’re still working through exactly where the dollars will go but I want to ensure that no charity in need during this time is overlooked and that our contribution is helpful for both human and wildlife victims, as well being used actively in climate change research and bushfire prevention.”

This April, fans will experience songs from the highly anticipated new album, The Slow Rush to be released February 14. Tantalising with shimmering singles, the most recent ‘Lost in Yesterday’ is “swimming in nostalgia and hooked on a funky rhythm section” (Billboard).

AUDIO: ‘Lost In Yesterday’ by Tame Impala

In the wake of No.1 ARIA charting album Currents, Tame Impala’s last Aussie tour in 2015 saw them sell out venues across the country, including an iconic Sydney Opera House forecourt appearance. Debuting smash hit ‘The Less I Know The Better’ on tour that year, the anthemic song has accumulated over 450 million streams.

Obtaining global success, Tame Impala boasts two Grammy Nominations, eight ARIA Awards, and a Brit Award, amongst countless others. Besides his acclaimed Tame fame, Kevin Parker has also lent his musical genius to collaborations with Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Travis Scott.

KHRUANGBIN return after last year’s in-demand Australian tour, which saw them add shows and upgrade venues. On their upcoming visit, they will bring songs from 2019’s Hasta El Cielo, along with ‘Texas Sun’, a recent collaboration with fellow Texan, Leon Bridges. A mix of Thai-surf punk, Persian rock music, 1980’s Algerian symphonia, with a dash of disco, soul, and Balearic music, their hypnotic live show is not to be missed “rich in beautiful psychedelic colour, by extension, it celebrates international culture and unity.” – The Line of Best Fit

Sure to be one of the most exciting tours of the year, experience Tame Impala’s triumphant return across Australia and New Zealand this April!

5 Unique Cultural Events & Festivals Happening In The UK In 2020

by the partae January 20, 2020
written by the partae

2020 promises to be another grand year for events in the UK. With everything that's going on in one of the world's commercial and cultural centres, it can be hard to pick which ones to actually pay a visit to. Here's a list of some of the most unique events, festivals, talks, concerts, and shows to narrow down your own cultural to-do list.

2020 promises to be another grand year for events in the UK. With everything that’s going on in one of the world’s commercial and cultural centres, it can be hard to pick which ones to actually pay a visit to. Here’s a list of some of the most unique events, festivals, talks, concerts, and shows to narrow down your own cultural to-do list.

London International Mime Festival

London International Mime Festival

Any lover of classic European theatre would be remiss to not attend the London International Mime Festival. Time Out has the scoop on what we can expect from the festival’s 43rd edition: a lipsync drag performance from creative duo Thick & Tight, a Chaplin-inspired tramp down memory lane, an aerial German circus about parenthood, and the bare-bones clowning of the intriguing Trygve Wakenshaw. If you’ve always been curious about mime and theatre, this is one festival you simply cannot miss. The festival is on now and will finish on February 2.

PPPoker Festival

PPPoker is an app that has exploded in user numbers over the last years. Unlike other poker apps, PPPoker is all about the social dynamics of the game than the wagering aspect of poker. And now, as in previous years, it’s launching a wave of tournaments across the world in 2020, the first of which is happening at Aspers Casino in London on January 15 to 19. During the 5-day event, Cardplayer reports that the PPPoker Festival will also host a player’s party. This will include “fun games, a live DJ and jackpot prizes”. This tournament is the perfect place to see some of the world’s best poker players compete.

London Music Conference

London Music Conference

This conference/festival is a veritable who’s who of the London electronic music scene. Apart from concerts from brands like Red Bull Radio, Boiler Room, and Beatport, the London Music Conference will also feature discussion panels on the big topics surrounding the city’s nightlife, inclusivity and safe spaces, the role of social media in 2020, and other factors that are shaping the future of British electronic music. This political and musical gathering of the minds behind London’s nightlife will happen on January 30 to February 1.

National Geographic Traveller Food Festival

What makes this festival different from the tons of other food festivals that are happening in the UK in 2020? It’s the only one that’s been created and developed by global science and entertainment brand National Geographic, a two-day festival that’s dedicated to both food and travel experiences around the world. This means cooking demos, tasting workshops, exhibitor stalls, and panel discussions celebrating two of the most powerful driving forces of global culture: food and travel. Catch the National Geographic Traveller Food Festival at the Business Design Centre, Upper Street, London on July 18 to 19.

Named after lyrics from the song Anthem by Leonard Cohen, How The Lights Gets In is a celebration of music, politics, literature, and philosophy. It’s one of the few festivals where the likes of media critic and philosopher Noam Chomsky shares the stage with heavy-hitting musical headliners such as British Sea Power and Anna Calvi. The best of contemporary music and philosophy under one roof — aural pleasure at its finest. While its actual dates are yet to be announced, this is one festival that should definitely be in your Google Alerts.

In Summer 2020, Electric Gardens delivers its biggest and most diverse lineup yet for its 5th anniversary: Half a decade of cutting-edge producers and world-class DJs will be celebrated in Sydney's shining Centennial Park on Saturday 22nd February 2020 including Armand Van Helden, DJ EZ, Craig David Presents T5, Nora En Pure, Gorgon City, Alan Fitzpatrick, My Nu Leng, Pan-Pot, Reinier Zonneveld live, Wilkinson and many more world class DJs and live shows.  Since a game-changing debut  back in 2016, Electric Gardens has established itself as an essential boutique event for electronic music fans across the country. Electric Gardens 2020 continues the event's tradition of presenting top-tier electronic artists and underground sensations; with dazzling stage production, generous set times and a pristine location. It's careful curation that has seen the event become a staple for Australian fans over the past five years, and the milestone is a testament to Electric Gardens dedication to booking exciting electronic talent, while simultaneously steering clear of trend-dependent and novelty acts.  The Electric Gardens 2020 bill is headed up by none other than acclaimed multi-million record selling artist Craig David, who will be bringing his widely-praised TS5 show Down Under. Combining his skills as a DJ and live performer, TS5 sees David fuse seasoned classics with contemporary anthems for a sprawling party set, drawing upon his extensive background in UK Garage, dance, pop and R&B. David's high-energy TS5 set has graced the biggest festivals stages across the globe including Glastonbury, Tomorrowland and will now close out Electric Gardens in riveting fashion after sold out UK and US tour and continued Top 5 UK chart placings for his most recent singles.  Next is US house pioneer Armand Van Helden, who has very much helped define the genres with his vital work on labels like Nervous, Southern Fried and Strictly Rhythm and many more. Always drawing on hip hop, r&b and soul for his sample sources, he has a heartfelt sound with a real sense of groove that has got people dancing for decades, and the big personality continues to be a key player in the global scene.  A longtime crowd favourite in Australia and abroad, DJ EZ will be bringing the UKG a-plenty to Electric Gardens Sydney. Quite possibly the best DJ in the world right now, Elvin is a master selector who has honed his incredible skills on radio airwaves, clubs and festivals for well over two decades. Electric Gardens is also excited to welcome South African-Swiss producer Nora En Pure who will be bringing her ethereal set to the Sydney stage. And after dominating the charts with their recent Billboard Dance #1 singles 'There For You' and 'Go Slow', one of the most in demand acts in the industry, UK duo Gorgon City will be making their highly-anticipated return to Australia. For fans of techno and blistering BPM, Berlin duo Pan-Pot and the esteemed Alan Fitzpatrick will get dancefloors moving while Filth on Acid head honcho Reinier Zonneveld will flex his skills with a punchy live set. Bass enthusiasts will be well looked after, too: Having long established himself as a favourite on the local festival circuit, What So Not will return home to Australia for Electric Gardens Festival, joined onstage by surprise special guests for the exclusive debut of his brand new live set of atmospheric yet heavy tunes. He'll be joined by fellow Australian hero ShockOne off the back of his 2019 album A Dark Machine, as well as UK drum & bass producer Wilkinson, who just sold out the O2, is a regular at Ibiza's iconic Together night and always races through a blizzard of different genres with real skill. His electric set will be complemented with DJ Ad-Apt on the microphone.  The latest additions include Brazil's leading progrssive house pioneer and enduring Kompakt label associate Gui Boratto, who always brings waves of emotions to his grooves, plus Spanish house giant and long time Amnesia resident Mar T, as well as Lucille Croft, Hoten and Ricky Cooper & Andy Ef. The Electric Gardens story begins back in 2001 in the UK, when visiting Australian dance fans Damian Gelle and Anton Marmot threw a backyard party in Walthamstow. Inviting their DJ friends to play and charging a small cover, the intimate gathering was a success, and it eventually evolved into South West Four festival in 2004. That event still attracts well over 70,000 attendees at Clapham Common to this day. Armed with first-hand festival knowledge, experience and connections; the duo returned home to Australia and founded Electric Gardens, with the goal of providing a European party atmosphere Down Under. Five years down the track, the mission is being fulfilled every year, with Electric Gardens blossoming into one of the most essential festivals of them all.  This next chapter of Electric Gardens is set to kick off in style on February 22, and is a faultless day of dance in the Sydney summer.

Untitled Group have once again successfully attained the lease for one of Australia’s most unique & exciting event spaces. Melbourne’s iconic Wool Store Warehouse, which has previously hosted world class talents Solomon, Jamie Jones, John Talabot, Willaris. K, and DMA’s, will host a series of revered events in 2020.. After laying dormant for many decades, Untitled Group will once again bring the monumental building to life fitting the space with a new world-class sound system paired with their signature meticulously curated production & set designs. Built in the 1940s, the Australian Heritage Commission (AHC) listed 'Wool Store' is of regional historical, cultural & architectural significance. The first headliner for The Wool Store’s resurgence will be announced shortly. Keep your eyes peeled on Untitled Group’s facebook page.
