Lovefest 2020. – Seems like not all ships have sunk for music lovers and there is one tiny beacon of hope. Its name is Lovefest in Serbia. Serbia is the only country to have big open-air music festivals this year and first ever to be held, after coronavirus pandemic started, is Lovefest. Lovefest will be held from 6th till 8th of August this summer in a dreamy green location of a small town called Vrnjacka Banja. The well-known city park lake will host artists such as Michael Bibi, currently one of the most wanted DJs in the world, Patrick Topping, Loco Dice, as well as the trio of Paris underground’s hottest producers – Apollonia. This year, Lovefest could be a good substitute for Berlin’s Panorama Bar because of the artist such as Jamie Tiller and Tama Sumo, Lakuti, Call Super, who will definitely bring that Berghain vibe. But that’s not all, more famous artists and headliners are yet to come in the days ahead, so stay tuned.
Ticket sale
Since just today the Serbian government announced that there are no restrictions on the number of people present at the gatherings, Lovefest will be able to welcome every music lover from Europe. Another great news also is that there is no quarantine required in Serbia so this could be your destination to go this summer. Also, from Monday, June 8th, it will be possible to buy three days tickets – regular ticket package costs 34 euros, and the VIP ticket for all three days is 69 euros. That will be possible via www.lovefest.rs, tibbaa.com, and Resident Advisor.
“Play it right”
In accordance with the situation in the world, Lovefest has decided to “Play it right” this year, and fitted the slogan of this year’s edition properly. In that way, they invite visitors to behave responsibly and in accordance with the measures.
Fast facts about Lovefest
Lovefest is an electronic music festival that hosts more than 75.000 people in three days each year, and this year will be its 14th edition. The festival has five music stages and more than 150 artists hosting every summer. Only last year, the festival hosted huge names such as Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler, Joseph Capriati, and many upcomers such as Enrico Sangiuliano.
In case you have not yet chosen your summer destination, a substitute for sunny beaches, and warm sea could definitely be Lovefest and of course Serbia’s capital that never ever sleeps Belgrade.
A spectacular two-day digital music festival experience, bringing together the planet’s biggest names in electronic dance music and the world’s best technology in 3D design, video production and special effects.

Like many organisations in the creative industries, Open House Melbourne is making dramatic adjustments to the Open House Melbourne Weekend announced for Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July in addition to July programming.
The 2020 program will not open the physical doors to the city’s most significant buildings, but instead it will unlock the incredible enthusiasm, creativity and knowledge of many building hosts, architects and designers who support the program year-on-year. 2020 will be a time for reflection, for contemplation, and for reimagining our city.
“It is an opportunity to ensure that the next generation of construction and of protection of our built environment centres around good design principles – providing long term financial value, protection of our precious environment, supportive of our needs, whilst creating inspiring and cherished spaces for us all to work and live in. Good design always needs to be an intrinsic part of all our built environment decisions,” says Tim Leslie, Interim Co-Executive Director of Open House Melbourne.
The digital program will engage online audiences in architecture and design events leading up to a hive of activity during the Open House Weekend.
The program elements will include streamed live talks and presentations, including annual highlights like the Speaker Series, where a number of experts present their design process behind built outcomes, and the Heritage Address – a thought-provoking look at the role heritage plays in our cities presented in collaboration with the Heritage Council of Victoria.
The highlight of the 2020 digital Weekend will be the immersive experiences embedded throughout a program of virtual building tours. Special programming at return sites like Australian Tapestry Workshop, Jack’s Magazine, Villa Alba Museum and Waller House and more will be revealed in an exciting announcement that will reimagine some of the city’s much-loved heritage buildings.
The full program of buildings and digital events will be announced in July. Expect some familiar faces and hard to reach places.
A predominantly digital Open House Melbourne experience provides a unique opportunity to do things differently; to engage with new collaborators and reach new audiences – no longer subject to large crowds, queues or inclement weather. In fact, the digital program will provide greater access and larger audiences to spaces once limited by opening hours, groups sizes or security concerns.
Open House Melbourne 2020 is a chance to experience the city from anywhere across Victoria, or around the world. It is a wonderful opportunity to share and celebrate one of the world’s most liveable cities.
Open House Melbourne is an independent organisation that fosters public appreciation for architecture and public engagement in design in the built environment. We exist because we believe a more engaged public will result in better design outcomes for our buildings, our streets and our cities. We are registered as a charity (as Melbourne Open House Inc) with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission ABN 68295482310, we are part of the Open House Worldwide network, and we are an initiative of the Committee for Melbourne Future Focus Leadership Program.

“Moviendo el Mundo” is a PLURTV solidarity project in collaboration with all Latin American countries for helping professionals on the scene in situations of vulnerability. At the same time, it allows to canalice the delivery of humanitarian aid to all the countries where it is present.
These are difficult times for the scene across the whole planet. One of the most affected by this huge crisis is the scene in Latin America, mostly due to the null involvement by governments in proposing solutions for professionals in the leisure sector. This means that artists, clubs and independent promoters who have been working for years in a very professional manner are now even on the verge of bankruptcy or closure due to the high costs of rent or staff salaries.
It is because of this reason that “Moviendo el Mundo” is born: a project that seeks to create sustainability on the continental scene based on union, respect and solidarity, allowing the most vulnerable ones to have an opportunity for not bankrupting, and the most stable ones to give a hand to their colleagues so they can go on.
Simultaneously, the project will also work closely with all the countries involved, through local and trustworthy organizations to deliver essential products to vulnerable families.
The first Moviendo el Mundo event will be a combined event from several countries: Dominican Republic (Tanama), Honduras (Retune), Costa Rica (Garito Tamarindo) and Panama (La Buat)
We have 2 international brands invited that will be in solidarity: Sight (Barcelona / Spain) and Meet Festival (RD / Spain). They will donate their corresponding part to support the countries of the event.
More info about the Project in this link: https://www.

Last, but very not least is the monumental 8400sqm Avalon Airport Hangar which will be fully kitted out with Untitled’s signature expanse of impressive lighting and production.

Hayden James:
It took award-winning music producer Hayden James one song to become a sound of the Australian summer. ‘Something About You’, released in the heat of December 2014 by Future Classic, lit up the pop music scene and gained Gold Certification in Australia. Today the artist’s electronic pop music has hooked a global audience on his sound, with a collection that has amassed over half a billion streams.
Following the release of ‘Something About You’, Hayden James played sold out venues world-wide while producing tracks for Katy Perry. October 2017 marked the release of ‘Numb’ featuring GRAACE, which scored Platinum certification in Australia and landed at #32 on Triple J’s Hottest 100.
Hit singles “Better Together” featuring Running Touch and ‘Just Friends’ featuring singer Boy Matthews sealed 2018 as Hayden James’ break out year, leading into his long-awaited debut album ‘Between Us’ in June 2019 cemented Hayden as one of Australia’s most influential pop producers, leading to an ARIA Nomination for Best Male Artist.
DJ Boring
Following a stand-out set at Untitled Group’s Pitch Music & Arts earlier this year and having one of the most watched Boiler Room’s of 2019, Dj Boring joins the Virtual Day Party lineup being filmed from the Avalon Airport Hangar. DJ BORING aka Tristan Hallis could be the most ironically named performer today: energetic journeys into forgotten gems and future classics, nothing about what he does is boring.
Lastlings
In 2018, the mystique surrounding Lastlings expanded as their live show caught the attention of Australian electronic heavyweights RÜFÜS DU SOL, signing the duo to their newly founded label Rose Avenue Records, and welcoming three substantial singles that included ‘Deja Vu’, ‘I’ve Got You’ and ‘Last Breath’. Previously selling out Australian headline tours, supporting the likes of Two Door Cinema Club and RÜFÜS DU SOL, while earning spots on esteemed music events; Coachella’s DoLaB and Splendour In The Grass and Beyond The Valley, Amy and Josh are no strangers to the world’s biggest stages.
Made in Paris
Closing 2019 with her most anticipated single ‘Pursuit’, Made in Paris has dominated radio with full rotation and 100+ spins on Triple J, taking top 30 positions weekly on the Australian Shazam Chart and adds to Spotify editorial playlists globally. From her three USA tours to Australia’s most acclaimed warehouses alongside Stephan Bodzin on his 2019 Australian tour, Pitch Music Festival, Beyond The Valley and Splendour In The Grass, the Sydney artist depicts a true deep and dark production journey from studio to stage. Paris has entrapped enthusiasts within the industry from Maceo Plex and Township Rebellion to Joseph Capriati’s techno allure, with a globally acclaimed Mixmag, BBC Radio 1 and her most recent Triple J Mix Up Residency, making her a solid staple.
Cassettes For Kids
Cassettes for Kid’s trademark blend of high energy house, breaks has seen a swift trajectory to the forefront of local dance music. He’s already dominated festival stages at Pitch Music and Arts, Strawberry Fields, Lost Paradise, Duke Street Block Party as well as headlining Australia’s best clubs – XE54, Universal & more. An extremely trusted selector, he has warmed dancefloors for the likes of Denis Sulta, DJ Koze, KiNK, KETTAMA, HAAi, Black Loops, ANNA, John Talabot and many more.
Adult Art Club
Mysterious Australian duo Adult Art Club have been teasing local experimental electro dance fans with some rare gems released sporadically over the past few years. Low slung, sinister vibes, soul shifting drops and crunchy samples bring an earthy vibe to the floor, with earth shaking lows and psychedelic highs, this duo are like manna from heaven for the more adventurous dance floor dwellers around the country. A treat for this year’s Beyond The Valley, Adult Art Club will have the sold out masses vibrating hard to their dank minimalism.
Thank you.
Untitled Group would like to thank our videographers, photographers, production and suppliers who all contributed to making these streams come together.

Parkway Drive have rescheduled their upcoming Australian Tour. The Viva The Underdogs Australian Revolution Tour, originally scheduled for June 2020, will now take place in July 2021 with special guests Hatebreed and Every Time I Die.
Message from Parkway Drive
To all our Aussie fans,
It may come as no surprise to you that the Viva The Underdogs Australian Revolution Tour will need to be postponed. Given the current situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the various restrictions State and Federal Governments have put in place, it is literally impossible for the tour to go on in June 2020.
We have rescheduled the shows for July 2021 and are stoked that both Hatebreed and Every Time I Die will still be joining us then.
Thank you for your patience in these testing times and we promise it will be worth the wait when this tour gets back up and running next year.
Stay safe, PWD

Bootleg Rascal have just revealed their spaced out and infectious new single ‘We Independent’ – produced by the band themselves and long-time collaborator Ian Pritchett (Boo Seeka, Kim Churchill, Angus and Julia Stone), and Simon Dobson (Little May, STUPID BABY).
‘We Independent’ continues down the path of sonic exploration the duo has been carving out since the revamp of the project in mid-2019. Opening with a groove-laden progression, the lush vocals of front man Carlos Lara lead into an endearing sing-a-long chorus, that soars with its combination of resounding drums, steadfast bass, jangly guitars and hypnotic brass.
“’We Independent’ is a track we wrote inspired by starting to remove ourselves from a toxic situation”, says guitarist Jimmy Young. “Initially, we were unsure how to break away from it, but sometimes you have to say enough is enough and follow your intuition. We’re so glad we took that leap of faith and couldn’t be heading in a better direction because of taking that risk”.
While the band is forced off the road, Lara and Young are currently in the studio working on a forthcoming staggered EP titled ‘Collaborations of Very Isolated Delinquents “19’, where from May through till September, the group will release a new track each month, with ‘We Independent’ being the first offering. The band’s most recent single ‘Lonely Times‘ will also feature on the record.
“While we can’t tour, Jim and myself thought it could be cool to set ourselves a challenge of dropping a new track each month and tie it all into a conceptual EP,” says Lara. “The record is set to be heavily influenced by what’s currently happening in the world”.
After restrictions imposed by the Australian government, the band were forced to reschedule their East Coast capital city shows to mid-late September 2020, while their performance at Big Pineapple Music Festival has been moved to Saturday 21 November.
Since their mid-2013 inception, Bootleg Rascal have released a slew of singles, an EP and two albums, all warmly received by critics and fans around the world. Multiple tracks have been added to Spotify and Apple Music playlists, high rotation on triple j and they’ve performed on the stations esteemed ‘Like a Version’ segment.
The band have continually traversed the globe playing multiple sold out headline shows in France, UK, Holland, Germany, New Zealand and Australia, and performed sold out shows in the USA. They’ve also regularly appeared on major Australian festivals including Falls Festival, The Big Pineapple Festival, Lost Paradise, Hills are Alive, Festival of the Sun and Party in the Paddock.
