Having been ensconced in the studio recording material for their new album “ANTI ANTI GENERATION” (pronounced “an-T, an-tie, Generation”) due later this year, Japan’s foremost alternative-rock outfit RADWIMPS (Yusuke Takeda / bass, Yojiro Noda / vocals and guitar, Akira Kuwahara / guitar) will pre-empt its release with brand new track ‘IKIJIBIKI’ featuring Taka from popular Japanes rock band ONE OK ROCK.
For the first time in band’s history, 3 tracks feature special guest collaborators; Taka (singer of ONE OK ROCK), Aimyon (up-and-coming female singer songwriter), Miyachi (NY based rapper) and Tabu Zombie (from SOIL&“PIMP”SESSIONS). The album also includes their recent hit singles “Saihate Aini,” “Mountain Top,” and “Catharsist” as well as “Banzai Sensho” and “Seikai,” written and performed for NHK “18FES” in Oct. 2018
Limited edition of “ANTI ANTI GENERATION” physical package comes with a bonus DVD featuring band’s interview and documentary capturing them since the release of “Your Name.” OST and “Human Bloom” album. This is a must see for the fans. The band also revealed new publicity photo and an iconic album cover with design of smashed empty can. The artwork was directed by Tetsuya Nagato, who also directed the artwork for their last album “Human Bloom.”
